¡¾ Training Background ¡¿
With the enhancing of the comprehensive strength of China, Chinese learning is now of a great demand that it has been considered as one of the most attractive languages in the 21 st century . According to incomplete statistics, there are already more than 2300 universities in about 100 countries which offer Chinese courses, and more than 30 million foreigners are studying Chinese in various ways. There will be 100 million people learning Chinese by the year of 2010. Especially, the 2008 Olympic Games is promoting the needs.
¡¾ Training Characteristics ¡¿
According to the pratical needs of Chinese teaching as foreign language, this program is divided into two kinds of courses: Training of Teaching Ability and Training of Chinese National Culture. The former emphasizes on the basic ablity of teachers, such as methods of teaching chinese, analysis on basic chinese teaching materials, instructions of teaching of Chinese lexicon, grammar, listening, speaking, reading and writing, analysis of the mistakes in Chinese teaching, and so on. The latter emphasizes on the improvement of teachers' comprehensive quality , including theory of Chinese teaching as foreign language, design and evaluation of teaching, analysis on middle and senior Chinese teaching materials and Chinese traditional culture, ect. This training is interactive, participatory, from which learners will surely feel the improvement of their teaching ability.
¡¾ Object of Training ¡¿
¡¡¡¡People who is teaching and willing to teach Chinese to foreigners home and abroad, and undergraduates from normal universities.
¡¾ Teachers of Training ¡¿
¡¡¡¡Professors from Tsinghua University, Beijing University, People's University , Beijing Language University, Beijing Normal University, possessing rich experiences in teaching Chinese as second language.
¡¾ Certificate ¡¿
¡¡¡¡Learners who finish all the courses and reach the required standard will be awarded the ¡°Certificate of Chinese Training¡± by School of Continuing Education, Tsinghua University.

¡¾ Application Procedure ¡¿
¡¡¡¡1.Fill in the application form, bring a copy of educational certificates and ID card or passport each, two colored photos (2 inches).
¡¡¡¡2.School look through the qualification of applicants and send letter of acceptance to all qualified.
¡¡¡¡3.After receiving the letter of acceptance, applicants are asked to send remittance , and fax the remittance document to school.
¡¡¡¡4.Get study materials and schedule, register and engage in the studying.
¡¾ Accommodation ¡¿
Standard1: single room,130/day, individual bathroom, central air conditioner, network interface , television, telephone, hotwater.
Standard2: double room, 90/bed/day, public bathroom, central air conditioner, network interface , television, telephone, hotwater.
